Orchestra Europa: 20th Anniversary

Orchestra Europa marks its 20th anniversary year, beginning in July 2026, with a renewed focus on artistic excellence and education. Founded by conductor Scott Ellaway, the orchestra brings together professional musicians and emerging artists in performances that place equal emphasis on artistic quality and meaningful engagement.

Over two decades, Orchestra Europa has developed a distinctive model that integrates live performance with mentorship and educational outreach, working with leading institutions and young artists to broaden access to orchestral music.

This next phase of work is supported by the American Orchestra Europa Foundation and the Julia Rausing Trust, with activity already underway in advance of the anniversary year, enabling an integrated programme of artistic development, school partnerships, and digital broadcasts that extend access to orchestral music.
